You create one Diiirect account at [app.diiirect.com/signup](https://app.diiirect.com/signup), confirm your email address, and then say what brings you here. That answer (talent, client or recruiter) sets up your first workspace. You can add the other types later. ## Sign up 1. Go to [app.diiirect.com/signup](https://app.diiirect.com/signup). 2. Choose **Continue with Google**, **Continue with Microsoft** or **Continue with LinkedIn**, or choose **Continue with email**. 3. If you chose email, fill in **Work email**, **First name**, **Last name**, **Password** and **Confirm**. 4. Tick the box to agree to the Terms and the Privacy Policy, then select **Create account**. Passwords need at least 8 characters, including a lowercase letter and a number. A password that has appeared in a public data breach is refused, so pick one you haven't used elsewhere. If you have a promo code, open **Have a promo code?** before you create the account. ## Verify your email After an email sign-up you land on **Check your email**. Type the verification code we sent you, or click the link in the email; the page notices by itself when your address is verified and moves you on. If the email doesn't arrive, check your spam folder or use **Didn't receive the email? Resend**. If you signed up with Google, Microsoft or LinkedIn, you skip this step and go straight to setup. ## Tell us what brings you here Next, Diiirect asks **What brings you here?** Pick the option that describes you: - **I am looking for work**: you're a professional who wants to be matched with companies. This creates your talent workspace. - **I am hiring**: you're posting roles for a company. This creates a client workspace for it. - **I am a recruiter**: you run or work at a recruiting firm that submits candidates to open roles and earns a fee when they're placed. You'll also give the name people will see: your own as talent, or your company's as a client or recruiter. If you need to stop, **Save and finish later** keeps your progress. ## What happens next **Talent.** You build your profile in the same conversation: connect LinkedIn or upload a résumé, then confirm your title, location, skills, a recent role and your rate. To select **Publish profile** you need a verified email and a verified phone number. Once your profile is published, your talent workspace is ready. More in [build your profile](https://knowledge.diiirect.com/working-as-talent/build-your-profile). **Client.** After you name your company, a short setup asks about your organization, such as its size, industry, location and how you plan to hire. Two optional steps follow, inviting your team and booking a call with us, and you can skip both. Then you land on your dashboard. You can always [invite your team](https://knowledge.diiirect.com/getting-started/invite-your-team) later. **Recruiter.** You fill in a short application about your firm, your clients, your network and your standards, then select **Submit application**. The page then shows **Status · Pending review** and says that approval usually takes 1-2 business days and that we'll email you when it's ready. When your firm is approved, your recruiter workspace opens with a 30-day trial of the Professional plan. :::tip You don't need a workspace to refer people.
